Academic Backgrounds of Executive Coaches

Does having a degree in psychology make you a better coach? We’re a long way from an answer to that question, but among the coaches who participated in this study, at least, those with an academic background in psychology helped clients achieve higher levels of self-awareness and improved job performance compared to coaches without psychology degrees. Rather small sample size.
